2024-2025 SCHOOL REGISTRATION
Registration: Albion Grade School, West Salem Grade School, and Edwards County High School. The schedule for registration for the Edwards County Schools is as follows at each attendance center.
K-12 & WSGS
Friday, July 19, 2024 – Online Registration Begins
Monday, July 31, 2024 – In-person Registration
9:00 a.m. – 1:00 p.m. and 2:00 p.m. – 7:00 p.m.
Fees for the 2024-2025 school year are as follows:
Book Rental Early Childhood NC
Grades K-8 $70
Grades 9-12 $70
Drivers Education $100
Industrial Arts $25
Technology Fee $20 (6-12)
Athletic Participation $100 (Family maximum $300)
Lunch: Grades K-5 $3.05
Grades 6-12 $3.30
Adult $3.80
Reduced - Student $0.40
Milk $0.35
Breakfast: Grades K-12 $1.40
Reduced - Student $.30
Athletic Admission Fees – $2.00 students & $4.00 Adults/Senior Citizens (Subject to change as it is set by the Black Diamond Athletic Conference)
Other Information Needed For Registration
(1) Insurance is required to participate in any school-sanctioned sports, IHSA activities, Auto, Industrial Arts, and Ag classes. Insurance should be obtained through you local agent as the School District does not provide. The following insurance information is needed at the time of registration (Company Name, Policy # or IPA #)
(2) Names and telephone number of contact people if parents cannot be reached in an emergency. Please make sure all information is and kept up to date and current.
(3) Kindergarten students or new students to the district must have an official birth certificate. If unable to provide an official birth certificate or other reliable proof (passport, visa or other governmental documentation of child’s identify), an affidavit explaining the inability to do so is required.
(4) Proof of residency is required, if residency is unknown, a current tax bill along with a utility bill will be required for verification purposes.Registration cannot be completed until residency in the Edwards County School District has been determined and meets Illinois School Code requirements.
(5) More information specific to each school will be sent to parents/guardians by email.
